The biggest complaint that reviewers had with the Black and Decker LSW321 is the amount of power it had. Keep in mind that this sweeper is designed as a light duty “sweeper”. It is NOT designed to be a leaf blower. It does not move leaves well and is not designed to be used for things like fall cleaning. What it IS great for are hard surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, garages. The lower speed on this sweeper is just what you need to keep debris under control as you are blowing it away.

They have a longer runtime and improved performance. You should expect to be able to get about 25 minutes of runtime off this battery using it on it’s normal speed. The LSW321 does have a POWERBOOST feature which gives you a boost of power when you run across something where you need just a little more power. If you were to keep the PowerBoost button continuously pressed, you would probably have closer to about 10 – 15 minutes of use available.
Probably the most asked question is, “is there a charger included?”. The answer to that question is YES! And it only takes about an hour to recharge the battery. But, if you are someone who has a little bigger yard or if you just want to make sure you always have a battery available, then you may want to consider purchasing a second battery.
